So here it is… The new home for my blog. (For those of you who just navigated over from my old host… THANKS!)
First of all… yes, the layout is a bit boring. I can do better. I didn’t have time to work out the CSS for a unique theme for my blog. So this is just one of the out-of-the-box themes provided by SubText, the software I’m using to power this blog. I’ll try to work on that in the near future if I get some time (yeah right
).
Anyway… I’m working on some updates to the SharePoint Scalability whitepaper that I wrote last year. Also, I’m putting together some really cool scalability tips-n-tweeks demos and presentation materials that I hope will land me a spot at the SharePoint 2009 conference this fall. I’m fairly new to the speaking circuit so I’m hoping the powers that be like what they see and give me a chance. With any luck, I’ll have some cool stuff that applies to both SharePoint 2007 and 2010.
Also, there is a good chance that I’ll be attending MSFAST Search training in the near future. So I’m hoping to have some interesting material around that as well.
So with all of this going on, it was time. Time to launch the new host. Time to rebrand, relaunch, rerelease…whatever. I don’t get into all that self-marketing junk. It’s just that it seemed to be the right time to make the move.
I blog to give back to the community that has given so much to me. I hope it helps somebody.
